#THE OFFICE SEASON 8 EPISODE 10 SERIES#
This drama series which premiered on NBC on October 12, 2012, was created by Derek Haas and Michael Brandt. 2, but it would be nice to get a scene or three of Jim and Pam with their new bundle of neuroses.Chicago fire is an American Illinois-based action- drama series starred by Jesse Spencer and Taylor Kinney. Sure, a pregnancy-centric episode isn’t necessary for Baby No. But strange that the show makes no mention of this. *Speaking of Pam’s replacement: This was the second Jenna Fischer-free episode of the season, which I assume means Pam has delivered her second child. It consisted of mostly small, insignificant character moments (Nate playing the air-keyboard, Ryan and Kelly giving Angela the most spot-on gift ever), but it hit the show’s sweet spot. Does this mean her arc is prematurely over? My feelings on this matter can be best summed up as: meh.īut, before I completely dismiss this episode, it did have one unexpectedly awesome moment: The mid-episode montage of gift-giving and staff-rocking courtesy of the Trans Siberian Orchestra’s Carol of the Bells. Oh, and speaking of Robert California: He’s once again single, Maura Tierney’s character apparently having dumped him off-screen. This episode, which concluded with Andy creepily driving by Erin’s place to make sure Robert California didn’t make any moves on her, did little to convince me otherwise. They’re amusing, sure, and Erin has grown on me more than most of the characters, but there is little vested interest in seeing the two of them together. Unlike Jim and Pam, two of the show’s more intelligent and well-rounded characters (well, pre-Season 7, at least), Andy and Erin are more often played as caricatures, sketches stretched out to feature-length. It would have a bit more impact if the Andy/Erin relationship wasn’t already so played out. From there, we get a few kind-of-funny, kind-of-overplayed montages of Erin drinking her heart out, dancing sweatily, and finally wishing death upon poor, shiny-haired Jessica. Not-so-sublty, she proceeds to drown her sorrows in alcohol. Moving on to the A-plot, which actually provides both laughs and several standout moments for Ellie Kemper’s Erin: Andy finally brings around his new girlfriend Jessica (Eleanor Seigler), sparking some much-heated jealousy in Erin’s heart.
